t-shirt sales update!
So far, t-shirt sales are going great! I have sold around 50 shirts already, just since getting them last week! I'm already sold out of small and large royal blue, and extra-large maroon. I only have very limited quantities of the other sizes of these colors, so get them while you can!
I got the shirts from a local t-shirt screenprinting company here in Carrboro, called The Merch. They did really great work, are affordable, and are easy to work with. If you're in the area and are looking to get custom shirts printed, check them out!
That's all for now. Thanks to everyone who has donated so far, but I still need to raise a lot more! My $2000 deadline is quickly approaching! Please consider donating in my name on the website. Thanks y'all!

B&B Pedal Prepper
Bike & Build has recently started producing a newsletter called the Pedal Prepper. It's purpose is to get B&B cyclists psyched about this summer. Have some time to burn, and want to read some of the comical things about being on a Bike & Build trip? Then check out the first 2 issues of the 2011 Pedal Prepper.

The new blog!
Hey y'all! This is my new blog that I hope to keep updated throughout the summer. When I cycled across the country with Bike & Build two summers ago, I had planned to use my blog to reflect on the amazing experience and post pictures. But I was only good about submitting for the first couple of weeks, and I never got around to posting pictures. I hope to change that this time. For starters, I am SO excited about doing Bike & Build again! This will definitely be one of the most amazing summers of my life, and I can't wait for June 19th!
For those who do not already know, Bike & Build is a non-profit organization that raises money and awareness for the affordable housing cause. All participants will cycle (yes, ride a bicycle) across the country, spreading the word of B&B, inspiring others to help defeat poverty housing in the US. All riders are responsible for raising $4000 before embarking on our journey, and the majority of this is donated to affordable housing organizations (such as Habitat for Humanity, Rebuilding Together, etc) around the nation to help them help others. Bike & Build is an amazing organization that supports an important cause that is often overlooked in the US. I have always been a huge supporter of Habitat for Humanity, and I am honored to have the opportunity to ride across the country for it once again.
